New Municipal Strategies for Economic Development through Asset Building and Financial Empowerment

MassINC and the Midas Collaborative invite Gateway City leaders to join us for an online webinar exploring action municipal governments can take to spur economic development by helping residents build wealth. To strengthen their local economies, innovative cities are working to increase access to affordable financial products and quality financial information, provide protection from wealth-stripping financial services, and build connections to programs that help families save for financial security and durable assets.

This short webinar will feature an introduction by State Treasurer Steve Grossman followed by a quick summary of best-practices in midsize US cities, and a high-level review of opportunities to work collaboratively to develop, advance, and implement these successful strategies in Gateway Cities.

Dial-in information TBD, please register to receive dial-in info by email when it becomes available.
