CommonWealth Contributing Editor Alison Lobron writes the quarterly RealTalk column and regular reports and comments on work and lifestyle issues facing young adults in Massachusetts.

Alison Lobron joined CommonWealth in 2009 to expand the "What Works" feature and work on the redesign of the magazine's website. A graduate of Brown University, she began her career as a reporter for the State House News Service in Boston, then taught English and journalism for eight years in local independent high schools. While teaching, Alison earned her MA from Middlebury College and became a regular contributor to the Boston Globe Magazine.
