Jeff Zabel

Professor Zabel received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, San Diego in 1987. He began his career at Tufts in 1989 as an Assistant Professor. His areas of research include the economics with social interactions, housing economics, the valuation of environmental goods, the economics of brownfields, the economics of education, and welfare analysis. Professor Zabel has recently published articles in the Journal of Applied Econometrics, the Journal of Urban Economics, and the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics. He received his B.A. from Swarthmore College. Other areas of expertise include Econometrics, Labor Economics, and Environmental Economics.
